  27. Yes, maybe in twenty years time I too will see the insightful connection
  28. between a Ada and C program, and a modern Volvo versus some 1960's wreck,
  29. which, due to my apparent immaturity, I don't see right now. Though I do see
  30. the relationship between cars and operating systems---that long I do have been
  31. following advocacy groups. You see, your cool operating
  32. system/language/computer/whatever is like a nice Volvo or maybe Lamborghini
  33. (depending on whether on this particular day you are spouting about reliability
  34. or performance) and the other item is a rusty wreck made by G.M. Uh huh!

  36. In twenty years time, I will surely place my blind trust in a ``safe'' software
  37. engineering language by then, and take a bunch of inexperienced programmers
  38. with me into a defence contract.
